Here was once an abby. Wealthy, as they could be. The monk's exported their goods all over Europe. They even had a trade war with one of the German ports, which they won. What most people do not know, is that the north of The Netherlands had the most abby's of Europe before the reformation.
All what is left are cows and ditches.
