The Best Of Two Worlds.
The photograph was taken by my latest trainee, Chris Roelsma in color. I needed a picture for a feature article about my business. However, I wanted the photograph for what I am in my profession. The knowledge of the darkroom and the use of modern techniques combined into one single image. Chris took the picture and I did the grading and framing. A Hasselblad negatief or transparency could always been identified by the two triangular notches on the right hand side. The Hasselblad was my work-horse in the analog days.
This is an ode to the past and future of photography.
