Tjerk Ridder And The New European Cultural Route Of Saint Martin
Tjerk and his donkey "Lodewijk" arrived today in Dokkum, where we also have a church dedicated to Saint Martin.
The "Saint Martin Path" starts in Paris (France) en ends in Groningen (The Netherlands).
Paris - Amiens - Ieper - Gent - Antwerpen - Utrecht - Amsterdam - Leeuwarden - Groningen.
It is a journey of about 1000 km.
The journey will end up in the theatres, starting of in Groningen during the "Noorderzon Festival" between 23 -27 of August.
It is also a project of the "European Capital Year" in Leeuwarden.
